This TV mounting project installed a wall mounted television directly above a fireplace mantel, a request that needs careful planning around heat and cable management.
Getting it right above a fireplace?
TV mounting above a working fireplace means accounting for heat rise and hiding cables cleanly, not just anchoring a bracket into drywall. We located studs, ran concealed cabling behind the wall, and mounted level and centred above the mantel. The after shows a finished look with no visible wires.
